About Get on the Bus-DC

Get on the Bus for Human Rights (GOTB) is an annual day of human rights education and activism organized by Amnesty International USA groups in Somerville, MA and Washington, DC. We organize peaceful actions outside of embassies, consulates, and public spaces on behalf of those whose human rights have been violated. In 2011, Amnesty local groups in Washington, DC brought the event to the nation’s capital for the first time. 2014 will mark the fourth annual Get on the Bus Day in Washington, DC. This year, Get on the Bus is occurring in conjunction with Amnesty's Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference.

Join like-minded activists for a day of rallies and fun for human rights in our nation’s capital.
